Academic Profile

B. Fine Arts (Honours) (1973). Rhodes University. Majored in painting.

Studied under Proffs. Brian Bradshaw and Rob Brooks, Tom Matthews, Joss Nel and Neil Rodgers.

Diane is married with two grown up sons. Pierre, Diane’s husband is a forester and they have been lucky to have lived in some of the most beautiful parts of the country including Mpumalanga, Southern KwaZulu-Natal and now in Somerset West.

Public collections include:
Nelspruit Municipal Gallery and the Borough of Margate, South Africa.

A number of works have been incorporated into international private collections and collections throughout South Africa. 

Diane has also illustrated many books, annual reports and technical papers. Diane has participated in numerous group exhibitions annually.
